Kojo Construction Sets
Eco-design of a wooden and plastic construction toy. The toy is also co-created with the client and made locally in the west region of France by Kojo, 2021.
Challenges
Goal was to help Kojo to define their concept in order to develop it with eco-design and create relevant construction models. Toy is made out of wood panels and recycled plastic connectors.
Solutions
We accompanied Kojo through different user’s tests with children, to design game scenarios and define better the parts of the toy. We also created different models on the theme of building of the world, resulting in the development of an oriental palace set and a Dutch house set, all illustrated by the artist Dans les Dents.
Testing with children and eco-designing within an iterative process, give us the opportunity to simplify the toy and propose a realistic development for responsible production.
