Innov'EnR Solar Panel Shelter
Industrial design of a solar panel shelter made for Innov'EnR. Designed and prototyped in our studio, project is a work in progress, made in France for Innov'EnR, 2018.
Challenges
Our main focus on this project was to design a recognizable charging station for electrical cars, which is simple, affordable and sustainable. The structure can be duplicated on a parking lot for cars and also be developped for bikes.
Solutions
Our design direction was driven by a concentration of light inside the main column which represents the circulation of energy from sky to earth. Structure is lightweight and adapted to hold the right number of solar panels.
The lighted column represents the collection of an invisible and mysterious ressource
