Falk Excavator
Toy design of the new excavator for Falk 2020 collection. Product is designed in our studio and made in France for Plastiques Falquet Falk, France, 2019.
Challenges
The brief was to redesign the entire body of the existing excavator. Challenge was to create a new system of shells in two parts in order to use plastic injection rather than plastic blow molding in a 100% French manufacture.
Solutions
We’ve much improved the existing product on several fields: ergonomics, security, gameplay, modern looking and cost-effective production with a matter of structural shapes that also makes the product durable.
Design is systemic, a product needs to deliver several features connected at their best level.
